Fire Protection for Vehicle Batteries

A vehicle fire represents a serious risk not only for electric vehicles, but also for conventional combustion-engine cars. For electric vehicles, including categories L1e to L7e, the focus is on protecting lithium battery packs, control units, and charging systems. LiGUARD aerosol fire suppression modules are activated when a critical temperature is reached and immediately suppress the fire directly at its source within the battery compartment, significantly reducing the risk of fire spreading throughout the vehicle.

For combustion-engine vehicles, LiGUARD offers dedicated solutions designed to protect the engine compartment. Flexible fire suppression tubes are installed directly under the vehicle hood and automatically activate at the point of fire when elevated temperatures are detected.
