TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Buyer, who may be:

a consumer (B2C) – a natural person acting outside business activities, or

a business customer (B2B) – a legal entity or self-employed person acting within business activities.
2. Product Characteristics and Safety Disclaimer

Products sold under the LiGUARD brand are consumer safety products intended as supplementary fire-protection devices, especially for battery compartments and electrical equipment.

LiGUARD products are not certified fire extinguishing systems under Slovak or EU fire-safety regulations and do not replace professional fire-suppression systems or emergency services.

Products are intended to reduce or limit fire effects, not to guarantee fire prevention or full fire suppression.
3. Order and Contract Conclusion

Orders may be placed with or without customer registration.

By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms acceptance of these T&C.

A purchase contract is concluded once the Seller confirms the order by e-mail.

The Seller reserves the right to cancel an order due to product unavailability or incomplete order data.
4. Prices and Payment Methods

Prices are displayed:

including VAT for consumers (B2C),
-
excluding VAT for VAT-registered business customers (B2B).

Available payment methods:

bank transfer,
-
cash on delivery,
-
invoice payment – only for verified business partners (B2B).
5. Delivery Conditions

Goods are delivered via:

DPD courier service, or
-
personal pickup by agreement.

Delivery is available within the Slovak Republic and the European Union.

Delivery times are indicative and depend on product availability.
6. Installation and Liability
Consumers (B2C):

Simple installations may be performed by the Buyer independently.

For complex installations, the Seller recommends professional installation.

The Seller may recommend third-party installation companies but does not provide installation services directly.

The Seller is not liable for damages caused by improper installation or use.
Business Customers (B2B):

Business customers are assumed to possess professional knowledge and expertise.

If a business customer installs, integrates, or resells the product, they are fully responsible for:

correct product selection,
-
professional installation,
-
compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Seller is not liable for damages resulting from:

improper installation,
-
misuse,
-
presentation of the product as a certified fire-extinguishing system.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers Only)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without stating a reason.

Returned goods must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition.

Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer.
-
The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers (B2B).
8. Warranty and Complaints Procedure (Complaints Policy)
Warranty Period

The warranty period for goods is 24 months from the date of receipt.
Submitting a Complaint

Complaints must be submitted by e-mail to info@liguard.sk.

The complaint should include:

order number,
-
description of the defect,
-
photographic documentation, if applicable.

The Seller shall process the complaint within the statutory time limits.
Transport Damage

Buyers are required to inspect goods upon delivery.

Visible damage must be reported immediately to the courier and to the Seller.
Exclusions from Warranty
The Seller is not liable for defects caused by:

mechanical damage after delivery,
-
improper installation,
-
use contrary to the product’s intended purpose.
9. Cookies
